Ballet shoe ribbon pink satin & nylon

Pink satin Ballet shoe ribbon,

1/2" for soft ballet shoes or 3/4" for Pointe shoes,#

1" nylon ribbon for pointe shoes

sold in 2.5 mtr lenghts

Instructions for attaching ribbon

1. Standard Method: Cut ribbon into 4 equal pieces, approximately 22" each.

2.  

Fold down the back of the shoe so that it touches the sockliner.

1. Fold down the back of the shoe so that it touches the sockliner. With a pencil, draw lines at the creases.

2. Place the back edge of the ribbon against the pencil line. The end of the ribbon should be all the way down by the sockliner. Angle the ribbon so that it is on the diagonal.

3. Using a matching thread, or floss--which is very strong, sew the ribbon in place, being careful to sew only through the canvas lining and not through the satin outside.
